Merry Christmas from Guyjin!

Written By: guyjin on December 25, 2009 No Comment

It’s been a tough few weeks of work, and I haven’t been able to keep up with posts here for a little while, but I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth, and will be back… In the meantime, Merry Christmas to everyone that has visited and supported this site over the last few months. This is Guyjin’s first Christmas, and I hope that there will be many more to celebrate in the years ahead. I hope that any and all that may read this have been able to spend some time with family and loved ones today, and that you have been able to enjoy some of the spirit of the season.

In Japan, even more so than perhaps back in Australia, it can be easy to get caught up in the day to day issues at this time of year, and forget about the reason for the Christmas season. I spent most of today working, as has often been the case with Christmases since I’ve come to Japan. But I still like to set aside some time to think about the birth of the Son of God, who I treasure a great deal in my own life. The messages of Christmas are messages of hope and good will and love. They are messages of truth and redemption and enlightenment. These are the kinds of values that I personally hope to live all through the year.

Over the next few days I’ll be catching up with some of the ratings and rankings postings that I’ve missed over the last few weeks, and I should be able to post much more regularly again in the new year.

Merry Christmas!
