This week, with the earthquake and tsunami at the forefront of everyone’s minds, NHK news broadcasts dominated the ratings, as can be seen above. Normally I present non-news ratings here, but given the domination of the news this week, I decided to reflect that in the ratings presented. Among non-news programs, the highest ratings were earned by: Sazae san (Anime, 20.4), Teppan (Drama, 19.8), Shoten (Variety, 18.7), and Ikegami Akira no Manaberu News (Informative, 18.0).
