You don’t have to be a 30-stone man mountain to enjoy a spot of Japanese sumo-wrestling, as these fiercely competitive schoolchildren prove.
The pint-sized athletes were taking part in the annual Hassaku Sumo Festival held in Okunitama, Tokyo, Japan, where the competition was extremely fierce.

ABC News: Japan Utility Seals Area With High Radiation Level
Tokyo Electric Power Co. said Tuesday radiation exceeded 10 sieverts at two locations near a duct connected to a ventilation stack between two reactor units at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant.
TEPCO says no one has been injured. The area required no immediate work and was closed off.

After her tests continued to show high levels of radiation, her cousin Chuhei Sakai, a farmer in the area, went with several other villagers to show her data to the mayor. He did not respond, Mr Sakai said.
Since then, she has earned a reputation for her monitoring. ”Every time I have mentioned my name at meetings recently, city officials there say, ‘Ah, you are the one who measured the radiation,’ ” she said.

Sacramento Bee: Former Japan national defender Matsuda collapses
The 34-year-old Matsuda was unconscious when he arrived at a hospital Tuesday and has been on an artificial cardiopulmonary unit, Matsumoto Yamaga Football Club team officials say.
His condition was “extremely severe,” club president Hiroshi Otsuki said, according to doctors.
Matsuda collapsed after finishing a 15-minute warmup run during training, coach Yoshiyuki Kato said.
